The Churning of the Waters

As we were praying after receiving Communion during our KAM Family 50-Day Journey—Press, Pursue, Recover All—Ed had the image of churning waters.
At first glance, churning appears unsettling. It stirs what has settled, disrupts what has become familiar, and brings hidden things to the surface. Yet throughout Scripture, seasons of divine advancement are often accompanied by the stirring of the waters.
Shavuot has come and gone. The empowerment has been given. The revelation has been released. Now comes the work of possessing and stewarding what Heaven has entrusted to us.
We sense this is where many of us find ourselves.
The waters are churning—not because something is wrong, but because God is establishing something deeper within us.
The churning is revealing what needs healing, alignment, and surrender. It is uncovering what has been buried and bringing hidden treasures back into view. What the enemy intended to bury, the Lord is restoring.
Some are recovering:
• Vision
• Confidence
• Relationships
• Opportunities
• Inheritance
• Kingdom assignment
We sense the Lord saying:
“Do not mistake the churning for delay.”
The churning is not preventing possession—it is preparing us to steward what has already been released.
Let us not fear what is being exposed. Let us not be discouraged by the turbulence. Let us press through the resistance, pursue what Heaven is highlighting, and recover what has been lost.
The same God who released the promise is establishing the promise.
Decree
Father, we thank You for what You have released and for what You are now establishing within the KAM Family.
We decree that we will not be intimidated by the churning of the waters. We will press forward with courage, pursue Your purposes with diligence, and recover all that has been appointed to us.
What has been hidden shall be revealed. What has been delayed shall be released. What has been lost shall be restored.
We declare that every revelation received will become a reality lived, every promise released will be established, and every inheritance You have prepared for us will be fully possessed.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
